Before you start:
-Whether you’re fixing a chipped or cracked windshield, make the repair in the shade. Expose it to direct sunlight after the repair is complete so that the resin can cure. For best results, make the repair soon after the damage occurs and before the break can be contaminated by dirt and water.
Repairing chips: Step-by-step instructions
1. Clean the windshield with a dry towel.
2. Center the ring of the applicator base over the impact point of the break.
3. Screw in the resin chamber until it touches the impact point of the break.
4. Carefully squeeze resin into the resin chamber.
5. Unscrew and remove the pressure driver, then re-insert it into the resin chamber to drive out any air remaining in the break.
6. Remove both pieces from your windshield and touch up if necessary (sometimes you can do this while you're waiting for your resin to cure).
7. Apply curing strips on both sides of the crack, exposing them to direct sunlight for five to ten minutes before removing them (this will harden your resin). 8. Scrape off any excess resin before driving away.

1. Wipe a dry towel across the windshield to remove dirt and grease. 2. Pour resin into the crack on your windshield. 3. Wait five to 10 minutes for the resin to settle into the crack. 4. Apply pressure-sensitive tape over the resin, then move your vehicle into direct sunlight so that it can cure properly. 5. Wait five to 10 minutes before removing the tape, then scrape off any excess resin with a razor blade or nail-file.
