Bought this tester to troubleshoot Christmas tree lights. I had multiple light strings with only half of the bulbs lighting. There were too many bulbs to do the old try replacing one bulb at a time method. Saw the ac tester method of checking the bulbs on You Tube so I bought the HT100 tester.
