If you have dark furniture and notice nicks and scratches that are the underlying material color (wood color) it can stick out like a sore thumb. I was disappointed that this product is kind of thin, more like paint than wood filler. But I remembered I had a can of Durham's water putty. So I mixed up some putty to a thick consistency and built up the veneer. After a little sanding I used 3 different colors of the Seisso furniture repair to create a finish.

I usually don't take time to write reviews but these markers are fantastic. I used them on my wooden railing at the top of my stairs that was severely scratched up by my cats.
