In order to connect the wires to the light fixture, you need to take the wires from the light and push them through one of the ring mounts and also through the ceiling plate hole. I didn’t know this and had to undo my wire nuts twice in order to route the wires correctly. Make sure you turn the breaker off. I had been looking for a really low profile fixture for my kitchen. The low profile and easy to coordinate white color of these fixtures was just perfect!
